The Agricultural Research Information
System (Polish abbreviation: SIBROL)contains data on ongoing
research and completed research from 1995 onwards.
The database is produced and maintained by the CBR in cooperation with over forty centres conducting research on agriculture and related fields. The pilot version of the database was developed in the first half of 1997. The database is to be used for preparing financial reports for the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Economy and for anlysing the efectivenes of agricultural research.
The record contains the following data: author(s), title, indexing, abstract, list of publications being in press or in print (and financial data that are confidential).
The SIBROL database contains also: data on authors (experts) and data on related to agriculture research centres in Poland.
Currently, over 3,850 research topics are entered into the database.
It is updated yearly.
